All the graphs are embedded in the visual table below.
Here we gave the individual descriptions for each graph along with the specific graphs.
Let's recall the attributes and metrics that we used for our five questions.
Attributes:
- Slot Machine (The individual Slot Machine unit)
- Weather (The weather outside during business hours)
- Slot Machine Make(Each slot machine is created by an unique company)
- Slot Machine Model (The design of the slot machine)
- Slot Machine Game (The are various types of different games associated with each slot machine)
- Slot Machine Zone (Area within the casino where the slot machine is located)
Metric:
- Pay Out Amount (The amount that the machine pays out to the winner)
- Coin In (The amount of revenue that each slot machine generates)
- Jackpot Amount (The amount that the player wins if they win a jackpot)
- Slot Win
The Key Performance Indicator Chart expresses the profitability of each Slot Machine. The darker the circle to more profit that machine makes. As you could see in the chart as the Jackpot amount increases the less profitable the slot machines seem to become. This could be due to the fact that the gamblers at this particular casino are either professionals, cheaters or they realize that chances of you winning decreases as the jackpot increases and stick to the lesser machines.
The slot hold by machine type chart expresses the profitability of each machine based on how much money they accept in order to play. In the chart we can see that the 0.25 cent machine is by far the most profitable followed by the $1. The least profitable machine was the $25 machine. As much as we had expected the $100 machine to be the most profitable it was the 3rd least profitable machine out of all of them bringing less than $250,000.
This chart is the daily analysis of coin in of the selected slot machines. From this graph we see the revenue from each particular date. We see that the coin in maxes out at 1.3 million at December 25th, 2012 (Christmas Day) and minimizes at 600,000 at November 12, 2012.
